Just Espresso
has been around since the beginning of this century and is a family business in
the true sense of the word. It started as Just Espresso
Roasting, but now we do more than roasting alone and we provide a
full range of services related to the improvement of the standard of espresso in
New Zealand.
During the course of a week you may find René staring intently at and sniffing
the sampler of his roaster, taking an espresso machine apart, commercially
making espresso for customers or cupping (tasting) a new batch of freshly
roasted beans.
René started his love affair with espresso since his first visit to Italy, more
than 20 years ago. He started experimenting with roasting when he couldn't find
the right beans to his liking when moving to Nelson in 1995. Since that time he
has gradually upgraded to commercial roasting and brewing equipment and now more
and more people are able to enjoy the beauty of real espresso.
We are the New Zealand importer/distributor for
RENEKA espresso
machines and have built a close relationship with this French company over time.
Our main focus is on specialist espresso preparation and for that purpose we
promote, sell and service the
RENEKA TECHNO
as our preferred single group machine. We now get enquiries from all over the
world about this machine and increasingly we provide sales and service for the
RENEKA TECHNO beyond the New Zealand borders for domestic users. See also our

Of course
RENEKA
has also many high quality multi-group machines available for New Zealand cafés
and we would be more than happy to provide information and support to people
interested in these machines as well.
If you are new to making espresso, there is a lot to know. We can help in many
ways ranging from bench layout advice, barista training, machines, beans and
many more issues. Established espresso vendors may also benefit from ideas from
